To go alongside the launch of Windows Mobile 6.5 and Windows Marketplace for Mobile, Sygic has announced compatibility of its ?Sygic Mobile Maps? with the new Windows Mobile platform. Additionally, the Sygic?s GPS navigation application for Windows Mobile 6.5 is immediately available from Sygic web site e-shop or via Expansys distribution network.
While Sygic will be joining Windows Marketplace for Mobile soon, customers not wanting to wait have an option to purchase and download it directly from the Sygic web site e-shop here. The range of covered regions includes Europe, UK & Ireland, North America (incl. USA, Canada & Mexico), Australia & New Zealand, Brazil and South East Asia (Incl. Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand). Further regions will apparently be added and announced gradually.
Sygic provides full-featured turn-by-turn voice guided GPS navigation for mobile phones and smartphones and in addition to Windows Mobile range, it supports also further mobile and embedded platforms, including Windows CE, Windows XP/Vista as well as iPhone, Symbian S60 v3, v5 including touch-screen versions, Linux and Google?s Android.
I?ll be reviewing Sygic Mobile Maps for iPhone in due course, so look out for the review!
