Garmin receives new certifications for helicopter products
Garmin announced the certification of our Helicopter Terrain Awareness and Warning System (HTAWS), as well as certification for the installation of the G500H glass cockpit in the Eurocopter AS350B2, AS350B3 and EC130B4. HTAWS is life-saving technology that works in conjunction with the GNS 430W and 530W and uses graphical and audible alerts to inform helicopter pilots of potential terrain and obstacles in their flight path. And with the G500H’s certification for three new helicopter models, it’ll be more likely than ever before to spot Garmin-glass at your favorite heliport.
