Garmin Updates BaseCamp – software version 3.1.2
BaseCamp is a 3D mapping application that allows you to transfer Garmin Custom Maps, BirdsEye Imagery, waypoints, tracks, and routes between your PC/Mac and Garmin device. It allows you to manage your data on practically all Garmin map products, but topographic maps are required for 3-D rendering.

Some of the changes made from version 3.1.1 to 3.1.2:
- Added localization for Simplified Chinese, Korean, and Thai.
- Added the ability to move the BirdsEye Create tool selection box.
- Added automatic naming of BirdsEyes based on the region of the map it is over.
